# Prefunding

## Overview

**LINK Prefunded Accounts** allow you to maintain a **balance of funds** to power **instant on-ramps** for your customers. Currently, prefunded accounts only support **USD**, but you can load them using **15 other currencies.**

## Funding a Prefunded Account

You can fund a Prefunded Account via the **LINK Business Dashboard** using your **USD Wallet.**

You can also choose to fund in **other currencies** using various methods — all of which **auto-convert to USD** and credit your prefunding balance. **[See supported currencies](https://docs.linkio.world/v2.1/docs/fiat-payment-methods#/)**

For example, to **prefund \$100,000** for customer on-ramps, you could:

1. **Load USDC** via any supported blockchain network directly from the dashboard.
2. **Load USD** through supported payment channels such as **ACH, Wire, or SWIFT.**
3. **Load other currencies** (e.g., **BRL, NGN, EUR, CAD, SGD, ZAR**) through supported payment rails — they’ll be **automatically converted into USD** in your wallet.

## Using Prefunded Accounts for Instant On-ramps

Prefunded Accounts can be used as the **source of funds** when initiating an **on-ramp.**

When using a Prefunded Account as the source, the **currency must always be USD.**
