Espees On-Ramp

Initiate a fiat → Espees conversion. You provide the user’s fiat currency, amount, and the bank account they will be paying from. LINK returns the vendor banking details the user should send funds to.

POST /transactions/v2/esp_onramp

Request Body

`currency`	string	✓	Fiat currency the user is sending (e.g., `NGN`, `GBP`). See Supported Currencies.
`amount`	number	✓	Amount of fiat to convert.
`bankName`	string	✓	Name of the bank the user is paying from.
`accountNumber`	string	✓	Account number the user is paying from.
`walletAddress`	string	—	Espees wallet address. Provide at least one of the optional identification fields.
`kingschatUsername`	string	—	KingsChat username linked to the user’s Espees account.
`espeesCard`	string	—	Espees card number.
`emailAddress`	string	—	Email address registered with the user’s Espees account.

Identification: walletAddress, kingschatUsername, espeesCard, and emailAddress are all optional — but you should provide at least one so LINK can identify which Espees account to credit.

After receiving banking_details, instruct the user to transfer the fiat amount to the account shown. LINK will credit the Espees once payment is confirmed.

Error Codes

Code	HTTP	Description
`TXN_MISSING_FIELDS`	400	One or more required fields (`currency`, `amount`, `bankName`, `accountNumber`) are missing.
`INVALID_AMOUNT`	400	`amount` is not a positive number.
`UNSUPPORTED_CURRENCY`	400	`currency` is not in the supported on-ramp list.
`INVALID_BANK`	400	`bankName` is empty or not a string.
`INVALID_ACCOUNT`	400	`accountNumber` is empty or not a string.
`VENDOR_UNAVAILABLE`	403	No banking details available for the requested currency.
`RATE_UNAVAILABLE`	500	Espees rate could not be fetched for the requested currency.
`TXN_FAILED`	500	Internal server error.
