Liquidation Address
A Liquidation Address is a permanent payment route that ties a blockchain address to either a designated destination (either a fiat account or another blockchain address).
When a customer sends stablecoins (e.g., USDC) to their liquidation address, LINK will automatically transfers the funds to the configured destination.
Choosing a Liquidation Address
When setting up a Liquidation Address, businesses can choose where incoming funds are delivered.
There are two options:
- External blockchain address: Route funds directly to a blockchain wallet that you control
- LINK Business USD wallet: Convert and settle funds into your LINK Business USD wallet for centralized treasury management.
NOTE: Once a Liquidation Address is linked to a destination, you'll need to contact **our support team** to reassign a new one.

Memo Based Blockchains
IMPORTANT: Don’t forget the blockchain memo.
For memo-based blockchains (such as Stellar), a blockchain_memo will be provided as part of the response. This must be included in your stablecoin deposit to ensure the transaction is correctly routed.
