Ramp Overview
LINK’s APIs provide a streamlined, secure, and compliant way to manage fiat-to-stablecoin on-ramps, fiat distribution, and transaction flows.
You control how funds flow and where they go, while LINK manages the regulatory, technical, and conversion complexity behind the scenes.
How It Works
- Setup paths – Define the currency and payment type through which fiat enters, and specify where the resulting crypto is sent.
- Collect or designate funding – LINK supports prefunded accounts, local payment methods, and bank deposits. You ensure sufficient funds are available to enable instant on-ramps.
- Initiate transactions – When a customer requests an on-ramp, LINK’s orchestration logic automatically checks the funding source, applies fee rules, retrieves conversion rates, and verifies the destination wallet (either a LINK Business Account or a liquidation address).
- Execution & settlement – LINK executes the transaction, performs the conversion, and sends the resulting funds to the destination wallet.
- Reconciliation & reporting – Receive real-time status updates, confirmations, and complete visibility for auditing transaction flows.
Compliance & Requirements
Support for geographies, currencies, and asset types can vary.
IMPORTANT: On-ramps require an Intended Use of Funds document (e.g., Invoices) before requests are executed.
Supported Assets & Chains
LINK supports a growing list of stablecoins (e.g., USDC, USDT) and blockchain networks (e.g., Solana, Base, Polygon, Stellar).
